News and What's Happening

FROM CHICAGO CHAPTER PRESIDENT EUGENE WILLIAMS;

Greetings members and friends,

As the warm weather sets in, we have some exciting events coming up.

On Saturday morning, August 14, 2010, come march with NOBLE in the largest parade in the nation, the Bud Billiken Day Parade! Come strut your stuff with the members of NOBLE for the kids in the Chicagoland area as we support the oldest parade in the African American community!

On Friday evening, October 1, 2010, the Chicago Chapter of NOBLE Annual Dinner Dance is set at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on East Wacker Drive in downtown Chicago. This elegant event with gourmet food will be reasonably priced at $75.00 per person.

On Thursday, June 30, 2010 at 8:30 a.m., our annual NOBLE Golf Outing took place at Carriage Greens Country Club in Darien, IL. We enjoyed 18 holes of golf with cart in Shotgun format, which welcomed golfers of all skill levels. There was lunch on the 10th Hole as well as a buffet dinner and drinks after golfing. Special prizes for longest drive, closet to the pin, even lowest team score. A raffle was held for various prizes so hopefully no one went home empty handed! A Foursome was $440.00, single golfers $125.00. DON’T GOLF BUT WILL EAT, and then Dinner and drinks was only $45.00 per person. For more info contact Bryant Neely Golf committee chairman at 312-458-9711.

We hope and pray that everyone has a safe and Happy Father’s Day.
